The versatile Clermont Foot defender, Alidu Seidu, has signed a contract extension with his club till 2027.

He joined the outfit in the 2019/20 season as a teenager and blossomed into one of the key players of the club in the last two seasons.

He has started each game for his club in the 2022/23 season.

“I am very happy to have extended for 2 additional years at Clermont Foot 63. My objective is to maintain this good dynamic with the team and to keep our place in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. I thank all the supporters as well as the coach, the staff and the whole club for their trust. Go Clemont!,” he said after his new contract was confirmed.

The 22-year-old featured for the Black Stars in their 1-0 win over Nicaragua in September.
